I was never the type for attention or thrill,
but I have always wanted to jump off a cliff.
And this year I decided I finally will,
without caring about how they want me to live.

I got tired of hearing them voice their concern;
still I hope that, eventually, they'll understand.
So I carry a rope so that I might return
as a happier girl after reaching the land.
